Nestled in the foolhills of Himalayas, Shimla is the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Formerly the summer capital of British India, the city is prominent for the colonial buildings and also remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Kalka-Shimla Railway. It is also famous for its local handicraft shops that line The Mall, a pedestrian avenue as well as the Lakkar Bazaar, a market specializing in wooden toys and crafts.
Manali is a treat for everyone who has dreamt of snow-clad mountains. Prominent as a backpacking center and a honeymoon destination is set on the banks of Beas River. It’s a gateway for snow activities in Solang Valley. The city is home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass, the Mall Road and its bazaar are the town’s focal point. On the forested hilltop is wood-carved Hadimba Devi Temple, dedicated to a Hindu goddess. The city is a hub for adventure enthusiasts. The Buddhist monastery is recognizable by its yellow, pagoda-style roof. On the east of Beas is Vashisht village known for its hot springs.

Day 01:- New Delhi to Shimla
Arrival at New Delhi Airport or Railway Station and drive to Shimla, a very popular holiday-retreat known for its Victorian architecture, which is reflected in certain areas of the Mall and The Ridge. It is also a famous holiday spot for honeymoon. Enroute, visit Pinjor Garden in Chandigarh. Upon arrival at Shimla, check in at the hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure or take a stroll on the popular Mall road. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02:- Full day local sightseeing of Shimla
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a half day excursion to Kufri (2500mts). Visit Indira Bungalow & the Himalayan Zoo (closed on Monday). In case, a Monday falls on this day, guests shall be taken to Naldhera Golf course instead of Kufri. Afternoon: Guests will be dropped at the Shimla Mall road to explore by themselves. Attractions of the mall road include Shimla Church, Scandal Point, Gaiety Theatre, Town hall & shopping. Evening, the guests shall be transferred to their respective hotels for overnight stay. Dinner shall be at the hotel. Note: Pony ride/ Golf kit charges at Kufri/Naldhera are on direct payment basis.
Day 03:- Shimla to Manali (272 Km / 9 to 10 hrs)
After breakfast, check out from hotel and depart for Manali. Drive past Beas-Sutlej Link project, Pandoh Dam & Kullu Valley. Lunch shall be en-route on direct payment basis. Check in to the hotel on arrival for an overnight stay.
Day 04:- Half day Manali sightseeing
After a hearty breakfast, proceed for a half day sightseeing of Manali. Visit Vashishtha Kund, Hidimba devi temple, Tibetan Monasteries and Club House. Rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities. Stay overnight at the hotel in Manali.
Day 05:- Manali Snow Point / Solang Valley
After an early morning, take a half day excursion to Snow Point on the way to Rohtang - Permits on direct payment basis (Closed every Tuesday). While you return, you may opt for adventure activities like Para Gliding, Zorbing, and Skiing (subject to snow) at Solang Valley on direct payment basis.
Rohtang Pass: It is 51 Kms | 2hrs from Manali. It is not accessible for almost eight months in a year as it is covered by snow. Guests are generally are taken to the snow point on Rohtang Road, permitted by Border Security Force. In case a Tuesday falls on this day, guests shall be taken to the snow point on some other day as we have three nights in Manali.
Solang Valley: It is a side valley at the top of the Kullu Valley, 14 km northwest of the resort town Manali on the way to Rohtang Pass, and is known for its summer and winter sport conditions. Activities loffered are paragliding, skating and zorbing skiing depending on the season.
Note: All the adventure activities at Solang Valley / Snow point require a Snow suit and boots which are on direct payment basis. Both snow point & Solang Valley will be covered on the same day & the visit is subject to weather conditions.
Day 06:- Departure
After a scrumptious breakfast, check out from hotel and proceed to New Delhi Airport for a return journey.
